BRAVO! TODAY WE HAD A VERY PRODUCTIVE MEETING WITH MAYOR ERIC ADAMS OF NEW YORK CITY REGARDING THE AFRICAN DIASPORA COMMUNITIES. The meeting was first of its kind when Christian faith leaders and pillars of the African communities seat down with the Mayor and his entire team / cabinet to strategize on how the City can help the African and diaspora communities move forward.

I don't rely on politicians promises and I have some of them as friends, and I have dealth with quite a number of them locally and internationally for me to know when they are on their high horse. Today's meeting was as candid as it can ever be without any political twists to it. 

In attendance was Mayor Eric Adams of New York City, and his team, Rev. Joseph J. Jones - Associate Human Rights Specialist/Faith Based Liason, Hon. Erick Salgado - Assistant Commissioner for Outreach of Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs, Ms. Toyin Omolola and few others not mention. 

We table our requests and I can affirmatively say that Mayor Eric Adam have a good plan for the African Diaspora communities if we come together and speak in one voice!

RUTGERS UNIVERSITY, NEW BRUNSWICK, NEW JERSEY COMEDIC AND THERAPEUTIC EVENING RECEPTION WAS HOSTED BY: Rutgers Global and The Center for African Studies..In honor of the former president of Nigeria - H.E. Olusegun Obasanjo AND The King of Owu Kingdom - HRM, Oba, Dr. Saka Adelola Matemilola.
